In Sept. of 1997, a wild young man from Rossville Ga. Was gloriously saved by the grace of  God. A few years later he was called to preach and ordained Sept. 2004 at Shiloh Baptist where he served as a youth pastor until 2009. God’s call came again in Feb. 2009 when Bro. Rocky became Senior Pastor of Sale Creek First Baptist for 6 wonderful years. In January of 2015, God’s call came once again, and the Lord placed Bro. Joshua Ehrlich joined the MCBC Framily in February 2024. He was born and raised in the church but began to truly fall in love with Jesus in his junior high and high school years. It was during this time that he began to sense God's call into the ministry. Because of this, he has a heart for youth and desires to help the next generation of believers grow in their relationships with Christ. He is not alone in this endeavor, though, as he married the love of his life in September 2023. Pastor Josh and his bride, Rachel, seek to serve God however He calls them to, all for His Glory. 

Christi Bradford has been the director of Children’s Ministries at Mount Carmel Baptist since March 2015.  She previously served as a Youth Ministry leader at Shiloh Baptist Church and in the Children’s Ministry at Sale Creek First Baptist as both a Sunday School teacher and Children’s church leader. 

Jill Smith has been in daycare for 32 years.  Twelve years as a home daycare owner and then was instrumental in helping to open the Child Development Center at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in August 2000.

She is a lifelong resident of Signal Mountain.  She has been married to her husband Joe for 33 years.  They have four children (which includes a daughter-in-law) and two fabulous grandsons.     -    Click to READ MORE
